Food Station Distributes Aid for Residents Affected by Floods in Four Sub-districts

PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, distributed social aid to residents affected by extreme weather in four sub-districts in South Jakarta. Those sub-districts were Pasar Minggu, Kebayoran Baru, Pancoran, and Mampang Prapatan sub-districts.

This is done by the Governor's mandate, thus the presence of BUMD can be felt by Jakarta residents

PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said the four sub-districts were chosen to receive the aid, as they were deemed the most affected by extreme weather causing floods.

He added that the aid was realized in collaboration with the Food Station with traders of Cipinang Rice Central Market (PIBC) and Kabapin which deployed four of its fleets to support transportation for aid distribution.

No More Flood Survivors Refuge in Jakarta

"This is done by the Governor's mandate, thus the presence of BUMD can be felt by Jakarta residents,' he uttered, Sunday (10/9).

He added that the basic food aid provided was in the form of five kilograms of rice, one liter of cooking oil, one kilogram of white crystal sugar, Indomie, and 330 milliliters of mineral water.

"Hope it can lighten their burden in fulfilling their daily needs," he hoped.
